Yvonne Hughes

Yvonne studied Graphic Design and fine art at Hornsey College of Art.  After a career in commercial advertising she worked as a freelance visualiser, studying wildlife in its natural state.

Working with watercolour and Acrylic, her subject matter covers all wildlife particularly birds of prey and big cats.

Exhibited regularly at The Park Grosvenor Galleries Chelsea, Clavering, Hertfordshire, British Falconry and Raptor Fair, Althorp, Bonhams Auction Singapore, Christie’s and Sotheby’s Auctions London, N.E.W.A, M.I.W.A.S, T.W.A.S, N.W.A.G, The Conservatory Gallery Cambridge and The Hunter Gallery, Long Melford.

Yvonne was commissioned to paint a picture for H.R.H. Prince Edward’s Charity  which was presented by H.R.H. Prince Edward at Buckingham Palace.  Many of her paintings are  in private collections around the world.

As a member of The Wildlife Art Society Yvonne won the David Shepherd Award for the Best unpublished Artist, having Limited Edition prints produced by Solomon & Whitehead Limited. & Cachet UK.
