Norman Rossiter
Born in Torquay, South Devon. Norman was always interested in natural history, painting, and drawing. On leaving college in 1969, he moved to the East Midlands, and spent many years working as a designer in the advertising and point of sale display industry.
In 1986 he decided to become a full time professional artist. Working mainly in acrylics, oils and pastels, it was his life long love of the countryside and natural history convinced him to specialise in Wildlife and countryside subjects. Most of his paintings of game birds and wildfowl are commissioned and are held in private collections. His work has been exhibited and sold all over the U.K., as far a field as Kenya, South Africa, Australia, and most recently in the USA.
Norman has a large studio in Lincolnshire where he holds workshops and lessons. He also runs trips overseas for bird watching and painting.
