Angela May Smith was born in 1965 in a market town of St. Neots in Cambridgeshire. Angela has always been keen on painting but it was only when she started experimenting with pastels 8 years ago Angela decided to mainly concentrate on this medium.
This will be Angela’s 3rd year of exhibiting at Banham Zoo and she is looking forward to another successful exhibition. Her talent has blossomed over the last few years by capturing the fine detail of each animal she draws.
Angela has won Best Picture for the last 4 years at several Cambridgeshire Art Exhibitions voted by the general public.
Angela’s work has been displayed at many art shows around the Cambridgeshire area and she is becoming well known for her pastel artwork of wildlife animals.
